BOTOX Cosmetic is an FDA approved neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium A Botulinum that is injected into the muscles of the face. This medication is used to temporarily relax the muscles in the areas of the face which cause wrinkles associated with facial expressions which include forehead lines, crow’s feet lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults.
